New mobile site updates Sioux fans on the go

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota athletics department and leading technology service provider NeuLion, Inc. (TSX: NLN) announced today the launch of UND's official athletics mobile website, www.FightingSioux.com.

The new UND athletics destination now offers a mobile device-enabled version of the site, amplifying the user experience on the go. The mobile website will deliver a condensed version of the official athletics site to provide latest news and quick updates to handheld devices. North Dakota's official athletics website is available on all web-enabled devices by opening a browser and entering the www.fightingsioux.com URL. Users can get the latest news, scores, upcoming schedule, photo galleries and more.

"This is something we've needed and UND fans have been asking about for a while," said Matt Schill, UND athletics' new media editor. "As web-enabled mobile device use continues to expand, updating the FightingSioux.com user experience was a necessity."

With an emphasis on ease of use and access to content anywhere at any time, the University of North Dakota and NeuLion continue to focus on providing the ultimate destination for Fighting Sioux fans. 

"The richness of the mobile application and depth of capabilities set us apart," said Chris Wagner, executive vice president of NeuLion. "We remain dedicated to being a thought leader on all technology applications and, most importantly, on mobile as the world becomes increasingly focused on handheld devices."

As an end-to-end service, NeuLion develops and installs the mobile application, handles implementation, updates, settlement and reporting, live and real-time streaming features. NeuLion also provides branding services to match North Dakota's brand and design style, and integration with website content.

UND fans can also receive updates and game recaps via e-mail, by signing up to receive FightingSioux.com E-News. Live scores and updates are sent to their phone SMS text messaging by following the @UNDathletics Twitter accounts. A full list of UND teams on Twitter can be found at http://twitter.com/#/list/UNDathletics/fightingsiouxteams. Even without a Twitter account, fan can receive updates by fast following any account. For example, just text "follow @UNDMHockey" to 40404 in the United States to receive text updates about the UND men's hockey team.
