GRAND FORKS, N.D. - University of North Dakota head women's basketball coach Gene Roebuck announced today that Fargo, N.D., native Siri Burck has signed a National Letter of Intent for the 2010-11 season.

A 6-0 guard from Fargo South High School, Burck averaged 12.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 4.0 steals per game last season for the Bruins. A member of the All-Eastern Dakota Conference team, she shot 51.5 (102-for-198) percent from the field and tallied 36 blocks.

"Siri is a very athletic guard and we're happy to have her commit to UND," Roebuck said. "She is versatile in that she can play both the point and the off-guard and that is something that we really need right now. She also has the size that you need at this level."

Also named to the all-state second team, Burck finished the 2008-09 ranked second in the conference in assists, third in steals, and fourth in field goal percentage and blocked shots.

The Fargo South girls' team finished at the top of the league with a 24-1, 19-0 EDC record and are picked to finish second this season behind Century High School.
