Each Week throughout the soccer season, senior co-captains Mandi Boehmer and Kirsten Zachman will update fans with a weekly blog entry on FightingSioux.com. Check back each week in he features section on the bottom of FightingSioux.com for more updates and inside information from the University of North Dakota soccer team.

On behalf of the senior class, Mandi and I would like to thank our teammates, coaches, and parents for a wonderful senior day this past Sunday.

To our teammates, thank you for being our soccer family these past four years. We will never forget all of the memories and friendships you have helped us create.  Thank you for putting together the memorable DVD slide show with photographs from the past four years and for the framed team picture.

To our coaches, thank you for the amazing action-shot posters of each senior and for supporting us on and off the field.  It has been a difficult journey going Division I but with your continued help and hard work, we know that the team has a bright future.

Finally, thank you parents for supporting us in all the practices and games throughout the many years we have played soccer.  If not for you taking the time to drive us to soccer games and practices since micro-soccer and beyond, we could not have become the college athletes we are.  Thank you!

The soccer team still has one more home non-conference game on Friday, Oct. 30, against Cal State-Bakersfield at noon.  Please come and send out our seniors with a big crowd of cheering fans!  Go Sioux Soccer!
