GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Heading into his final season with the UND mens golf team, senior Dan Peterson has learned, over the years, the ups and downs of playing golf in North Dakota.

"The best part of playing golf in North Dakota is that there are very good golf courses in the state to play like Hawktree and Bully Pulpit," says Peterson. "The worst part of playing golf in North Dakota is the fact that you cant do it for five or six months during the winter."

The Moorhead, Minn., native was a top finisher at the NCC Championship this past fall, tying for 14th overall. Peterson was also UNDs top finisher at the Minnesota State Fall Invite and ended the fall season with four top-20 finishes.

As far as plans for next year, Dan plans to play a lot more golf and improve upon his game.
