FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.--The University of North Dakota men's cross country team finished 28th this morning at the 21st annual Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas at the Razorback Cross Country Course at Agri Park.
Oklahoma State took first place in the 10K race behind individual medalist Colby Lowe.
Senior Kyle Rosseau (Eagan, Minn.) was the top finisher for the Sioux, completing the course in 32:46.16.
Sophomore Tyler Rose (Brainerd, Minn.) was a minute off of teammate Rosseau's pace, posting a time of 33:46.85.
Senior Jeremy Jones (Grand Forks, N.D.), juniors Cory Absey (Grand Forks) and Joss Blatherwick (Bottineau, N.D.), sophomore Carl Sedgeman (Sauk Centre, Minn.) and freshman David Niday (Richfield, Minn.) also competed for the Sioux.
UND now has a week off to prepare for the Great West Conference Championship, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology on Oct. 31.
