HAMMOND, IN. - The Fighting Sioux women's golf team is currently in seventh place after the first day of competition in the PTSIR Golf Performance Classic. UND compiled a score of 330.
Senior Kristi Lucken (Fosston, Minn.) is currently tied for third with a score of 76 (36-40). Tied for 26th is Shantel Montgomery (Fr., Minot, N.D.) with a score of 83 (43-40). Junior Lauryn Job (Minnetonka, Minn.) carded an 85 (44-41), which places her tied for 29th after her first round of competition.
Tied for 33rd after the first round is Megan Grozdanich (Fr., Grand Rapids, Minn.) with a score of 86 (40-46). Rounding out the first day of competition for the Sioux women was freshman Robin Hutchinson (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) who posted a score of 87 (45-42). Hutchinson is currently tied for 41st place. Sophomore Abby Rueter (Sartell, Minn.) is currently in 52nd place with a score of 95 (47-48).
The Fighting Sioux women continue at the PTSIR Golf Performance Classic tomorrow for their second round of competition.
