McKynsay Seeger serves as the head athletic trainer for the Fighting Sioux women’s hockey team and has done so in each of the team's four years of existence.

Seeger graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and a minor in health education and added a master's degree in instructional design and technology from UND in 2004.

Seeger worked extensively with all Fighting Sioux athletic teams as an undergraduate, working specifically with football, swimming and diving, soccer, track and field and softball. She is a native of Burnsville, Minn.
